Me-dia Movie Reviews
In this review, I take a look at Scream 7, an entry that, for me, marks the lowest point in the entire franchise. What hurts most is that Scream was once one of the few horror series that genuinely evolved with the times, balancing meta commentary with sharp writing and real stakes.

I break down why Scream 7 feels creatively exhausted, discussing the weak script, the lack of tension, and how the film struggles to justify its own existence. While previous instalments found ways to modernise the formula without losing their identity, this sequel feels like a franchise running on fumes, repeating ideas rather than reinventing them.

Has Scream Lost Its Voice? | Scream 7 Review
In this review, I take a look at Dredd, the brutal and stylish comic book adaptation that has grown into a modern cult classic. I explore whether the film deserved far more success at the box office, breaking down its stripped-back storytelling, relentless action, and uncompromising tone.

Despite critical praise and a devoted fanbase, I ask whether Dredd arrived at the wrong time and why it still feels ahead of the curve today.

Did Dredd Deserve Better? | Dredd (2012) Review
In this review, I take a fresh look at Green Book, the Academy Award–winning drama that took home Best Picture. Praised for its performances and feel-good tone but the film has sparked ongoing debate on whether it truly earned Hollywood’s highest honour.

I break down the film’s strengths and weaknesses, discuss the performances from Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, and explore why Green Book remains a divisive Best Picture winner.

Did Green Book Deserve Best Picture? | Green Book Movie Review
Some true stories don’t need added drama.

The real events behind Last Breath are already intense, emotional, and unbelievable and in some ways, the documentary proves that reality can be more powerful than fiction.

I explain exactly what I mean in the full review comparing the documentary and the feature film.

Sometimes Reality Doesn’t Need Hollywood! #shorts
Same director.
Same true story.
Two completely different experiences.

How can the documentary and the Hollywood version of Last Breath feel so different?

In the full review, I break down what works, what doesn’t, and which one I think tells the story better.

Same Director. Same Story. Very Different Films. #shorts
There was a moment in the Last Breath documentary that completely stopped me in my tracks.

No analysis. No reviewing. Just disbelief.

It hit harder than anything in the feature film and I explain exactly why in my full comparison review.

This Documentary Genuinely Got Under My Skin! #shorts
The true story behind Last Breath is unbelievable… but did the Hollywood version actually rush past what made it powerful?

The feature film looks great and has strong performances but something didn’t quite land for me.

In the full review, I compare the 2025 feature film with the original documentary to see which version really delivers.

This True Story Movie Feels Rushed… #shorts
In this review, I compare Last Breath (2019) and Last Breath (2025), looking at how the true-life survival story translates from documentary to dramatised feature film. I break down what the remake adds and whether the newer version justifies its existence when the original documentary was already so effective.

I discuss the intense real-world stakes, the emotional impact of knowing this actually happened, and how both films handle tension, realism, and character including the human cost felt by those waiting at home. It’s a fascinating comparison between raw documentary storytelling and polished Hollywood adaptation.

Is the Remake Necessary? | Last Breath (2019 & 2025) Movie Review
I was never bored but I was never scared either. By the end, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple left me with one big question: is this franchise still about zombies… or about us?
