As if there was any doubt, it’s now been confirmed that Tom Hardy will be returning to play Eddie Brock in the Venom sequel.  In a recent interview with Fandango, Sony producer Amy Pascal stated – “I can say that Tom Hardy will be back, magnificently playing that character as no one else can,”

Venom was a surprising success grossing over $800 million at the box office and although it was panned by critics for its script and final act, the movie was adored by fans.   Venom certainly left the door open with its mid-credit scene introducing Woody Harrelson playing Cletus Kasady aka Carnage.
