Rumour has it Netflix is developing a Resident Evil series, information is currently scarce but if this turns out to be true maybe the Resident Evil franchise will receive the treatment it deserves. Netflix has a proven record of making gripping and well-crafted programmes and after last year’s success of ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ the streaming service have shown they can make an effective horror.  

The movie franchise was very divisive amongst fans, here at Me-Dia we hoped that the movies were more survival-horror based like the original 3 Resident Evil games. Hopefully Netflix can make a show that captures the elements that made the games a huge success.
