It’s been reported that Robert Pattinson will play Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. 

Since Ben Affleck stepped down from the role, fans have been waiting patiently for any news on the next Batman standalone movie.  According to Variety, Robert Pattinson is the front runner for the role and has all but signed on the dotted line. 

News of Pattinson being cast matches earlier reports, there were rumors of Matt Reeves looking for a younger actor to play the Dark Knight even before Affleck’s departure and names such as Pattinson’s and Nicholas Hoult were being considered.

Nothing is known about the plot, however, with the movie slated to be out in 2021 and casting apparently underway, hopefully, we can expect to hear more details soon.
