Acclaimed Director Christopher Nolan is preparing to start production on his next movie and though little is known about the plot, small details are starting to emerge about the scale, cast and secrecy of the script.  Nolan’s last movie Dunkirk released in 2017 was a huge hit amongst fans and critics alike, now he’s gearing up to take on his next project and with the Directors’ impressive filmography so far, the hype will continue to rise as more news is announced.

Warner Bros. has confirmed the film will receive a July 2020 release and it’s been reported to be “a massive, innovative action blockbuster” and “feature a globe-spanning adventure involving the time continuum”.  Nolan is, of course, no stranger to large blockbusters having made films such as Inception and interstellar.  The movie has already started to attach some big names with Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki and John David Washington being cast in lead roles.

Recently Pattinson has been promoting his latest movie and when asked about his involvement with the project he stated: “I got locked in a room to read the script – I don’t have it myself.” He added

I’ve been a little wary of doing big movies for years and years, but there’s just something about Chris Nolan’s stuff. He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale. I read the script and it’s unreal.”

Not much more is known and for now, it’s clouded in secrecy but with filming presumably starting soon in order to meet its release date, we can expect to hear more in the coming months.
