New Jurassic World 4 Movie Announced: Gareth Edwards Takes the Helm

The Jurassic World franchise is roaring back to life with the announcement of a new instalment, and this time, it will be directed by none other than Gareth Edwards. Known for his work on “Godzilla” (2014) and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” (2016), Edwards brings his unique vision and expertise in handling epic scale and visual effects to the beloved dinosaur saga.  David Leitch (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy, Deadpool 2) was originally in talks to direct but eventually negotiations fell-through and Gareth Edwards was hired.

David Koepp, the original screenwriter for both “Jurassic Park” and “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” will be writing the script.   So far Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Rupert Friend have been cast, and it’s currently unknown whether any of the previous cast members from the previous movies will be involved.

The plots details are being under wraps but the next Jurassic World movie is scheduled for release on July 2, 2025.  We will update you as we learn more.
